The Head of Brand Marketing is responsible for capitalising on our client’s history, vision and organically-forged brand. He/she will be tasked with reinforcing our client’s USP and increasing brand awareness across global markets. The goal is to create a strong community and advocacy around our mission and product.
The person will be leading several functions, including content, design, social media, organic SEO, influencer management and partnerships. He/she will be tasked with the creation of a departmental vision and way of working that aligns with both our client’s culture and business objectives. They will also be tasked with overseeing the business’s brand marketing campaigns on digital and offline channels.
Sound business acumen and ROI-driven judgment of the budget will be crucial to successfully market the low-margin product.
Develop and implement a comprehensive brand strategy across all channels.
Establishing clear brand guidelines on who/audience, why/strategy, what/messaging and how/activations & channels.
Leadership of several functions across content, design, social media, seo, influencer and partnerships.
Perform a skillset gap analysis and hire missing talent
Manage, and develop a team of creative but also commercially-driven and highly engaged individuals
Ensure a collaborative and efficient WoW within the department and with the broader organisation.
Set KPIs for teams to develop individual strategies across their channels, based on broader audience research/campaign studies & marketing effectiveness alongside insights teams.
Lead high-profile partnerships with other brands, media platforms and potential influencers or contributors.
Strategic partner with product leadership, influencing the product roadmap.
Evaluate campaigns against departmental and broader business goals.
Close collaboration with the performance marketing team and affiliation.

10+ years of marketing experience, preferably working with a low-margin business model.
7+ years of management experience, building and directly leading teams.
Experience both driving business results and improving brand resonance.
Must be able to relate to sports betting customers
Strong communication, collaboration and influential presentation skills.
Ability to think strategically and drive tactical execution
Great knowledge of the entertainment & consumer marketing landscape, current competition, innovations and trends and how they impact our business.
A background in owning and managing a budget, forecasting, and delivering on monthly goals of spend, CPA, ROI, Retention and LTV.
Both a strong strategic thinker, with the ability to translate quantitative and qualitative data/insights into strong marketing strategies, and a highly organized “doer,” with a data-driven mentality and a bias towards action.
Top-notch analytical skills with a proven ability to work through data to find opportunities and actionable insights that are not readily apparent and clearly communicate them to a diverse set of stakeholders in a way they will understand.
Experienced with channel testing methodology, lifecycle marketing programs and multiple attribution models.
Management-level presentation skills.
Strong track record of effective collaboration with BI and Product.
